I am a 20-year-old pursuing a double major in business (with a concentration in  marketing and advertising) and information science (with a concentration in UX/UI design) at  the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Michigan School of Information. Winning this contest and earning an opportunity to attend the society's Gala is  beyond exciting to me. I can conceive of no other event where I'd have the chance to meet so  many other passionate, critical thinking, Rand enthusiasts. This means a lot to me, and I hope my  essay demonstrates that.
